How search works

Full text papers are searched passage by passage. Each result shows the section and page where your topic appears, with the matching words highlighted. “Read in context” opens the paper’s full extracted text at that passage.
Title-level papers have not had their full text added yet, so they are matched only on title, authors, journal, year and topic tags. A result there means the paper looks relevant, not that the term was found in the text.
Several words must appear together in the same passage. If no passage has them all, partial matches are shown and labelled.
Put words in quotes for an exact phrase, such as "rotating treadmill".
Related terms expands abbreviations and synonyms (for example VOR, vHIT, mTBI, concussion). The list is below and is a draft that should be reviewed by a subject expert.

Filters, sharing and PDFs

Filters narrow results by source, full text, year, topic and (for full-text papers) the section where your words appear. The number next to each option shows how many results it would leave. With no search words, ticking a filter lists every matching publication.
Found in on each result shows which sections mention your topic; click one to open the first match there.
Copy link copies a link to the current search, filters or reader passage, so colleagues see exactly the same view. It appears on the published website.
Open PDF at p. N opens the original PDF at that page in a new tab. These links appear only where the PDF files are hosted alongside this page. Page jumps work in desktop browsers; phones often open the PDF at page 1.
Topics come from the source list and are a draft; papers without topics do not appear under topic filters.

Adding papers

New publications can be added at any time. In a Claude chat, upload the PDF(s) and share the link to this page. Claude reads the page's data, extracts the text, adds the papers (or full text for ones already listed), and republishes this page at the same link.

Aim for batches of about 5 to 10 PDFs.
Scanned PDFs without selectable text need the text pasted in or OCR.
Posters and abstracts can be added the same way.
